I had a blast chilling in the hot tub, pretending I was in a fancy spa. The garden views were nice too. Free WiFi meant I could post pics of my luxurious stay.
Oh dear, there were spiders everywhere! I mean, who needs clean walls and a spider-free living room?

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! It had everything we needed for a super comfortable stay - a well-equipped kitchen, cozy living room, and an amazing spa pool in the backyard. The location was perfect for exploring nearby Cotswold Villages and National Trust properties. We could walk to a pub and a convenience store in just two minutes, and it only took us about 15 minutes to walk to the town center. We even discovered an interesting river crossing on a small punt. The check-in process was straightforward and the hosts were incredibly helpful. There were excellent walking trails nearby, and the hot tub was simply jaw-dropping, providing a relaxed and enclosed vibe. The hosts were prompt in refilling the tub when needed, and the shower was absolutely amaazing! The property itself was compact, yet the bedrooms were warm and cozy, and the shower was powerful. We enjoyed walking our dog in the lovely wooded area down the lane. It was evident that the owner had put a lot of effort into the decor, furnishings, and electrics. It was the perfect place for my friend and I to catch up. The hot tub was heavenly and the beds were really comfortable. There was also a fantastic information folder with lots of nearby places to explore. it was a great place to relax and unwind, and we couldn't have asked for more!

It truly felt like a home away from home. Cons: No complaints.

The hot tub was a great addition, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring. The free WiFi was so slow, I had plenty of time to contemplate the meaning of life while waiting for pages to load.
Buffing Wi-Fi, uncomfortable sofa, broken furniture, poor cleaning, blocked filter, falling curtain pole. oh, what an enchanting stay.

The bathroom was amazing – it had a refreshing shower that made me feel like I was under a waterfall. As someone who loves water therapy, I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my day!
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the shower pressure. It was a bit too strong for my liking, but I can see how others might enjoy it.

Quirky 19th-century charm!
My stay at Baker's Cottage was like stepping into a time machine, with its charming 19th-century building and quaint garden views. It felt like I was living in a Jane Austen novel, minus the corsets and societal etiquette, of course. The ambiance was so unique and immersive that I half-expected Mr. Darcy to appear around the corner, sipping tea with his pinky up. Absolutely delightful!
Uncomfortable sofas.

The cleanliness of the property was not up to standard, with spiders and a damp smell present in the living room.

The cottage was lovely and cosy, making it perfect for a romantic escape. It was well-equipped with everything we needed and had a beautiful and clean spa pool in the backyard. The location was also great, with easy driving access to Cotswold Villages and National Trust properties.
The second bedroom and bathroom were a bit small, but the comfortable double bed made up for it. We also encountered some issues, such as a broken sofa and cleanliness concerns in the children's room.
